The pricing lists below are given to give you a reference point and what to expect.  Before we enter into any contractual arrangement we will have at least to calls either by phone or preferably via video conference.  On the first call, I will ask a lot of questions about what your expectations of an end result will be.  I will then take 24 – 48 hours to put together a detailed estimate that we can walk through on the next call.  Once we come to an agreement on the contract I will forward it to you to sign and return.  This offer will be valid for one week after delivery to you.  

Please read carefully the list of “additional costs” below as the pricing lists indicate only my time with no additional add-ons.

 Basic Rates:

A Basic Photoshoot starts at : $60.00 per Hour

Image Processing starts at: $80.00 per Hour

Event Photography: Starts at $175.00 for 1 hour shoot and 1.5 hour processing.

  • These are estimates based on one sitting with one outfit.
  • There are opportunities for rate reductions for future shoots – ask what might apply to you.
  • These rates apply to sport, landscape, and property shoots
  • This list is for guidance only, as we discuss I will advise if prices will be impacted.

Physical Prints – Note: We use a third party to print our photos.  All prices listed here are subject to change without notice!

  • 4 x 6 in – $5.99 for each photo
  • 5 x 7 in – $7.99 for each photo
  • 8 x 10 in – $12.99 for each photo
  • 8 x 10 in – Foam backed mounted print $24.99 each
  • If shipping is required, the minimum is $15.00 per package subject to Canada Post rate changes

Additional Costs

Note: None of these costs are included in the above list. Their addition to the estimate in some cases will require us researching with providers. If an estimate from a 3rd party is required, we will generally source that from 3 different providers if possible.

  • Any additional assistant – medium to larger shoots requires us to hire someone to help with things like lighting and styling.  Generally an additional $30.00/hour.
  • Hair, make-up, and fashion styling 
  • Costume rentals
  • Location rentals
  • Travel – any travel outside the city boundaries of Toronto is going to be extra.  Note: this would be for me any extra personel that would be needed.
  • Extra retouched digital images – general cost will be at about $25.00/hour
  • Equipment rentals – examples – extra lighting, special lenses, backdrops. 
  • Insurance – any insurance requirements from equipment to travel will be added to estimate if required.

 

Please note carefully that this list is meant to show examples of additional costs and may not be exhaustive.   Any additional costs will be disclosed and we work through the process so that there are no surprises.  

Digital images will not be released to you until full payment is received.  

Deposit Requirement: We will require a deposit of $50.00 to $100.00 depending on the size of the estimate.  Beyond that certain third party providers may require a non-refundable deposit which will be added to the deposit requirement.  Our portion ($50.00 -$100.00) will be: then reduce your final billing by that amount OR refunded if you cancel 48 hours before the locked-in date.  Any outdoor shoot will include an alternative date in case of inclement weather.  If we have to move the date, a new invoice will be produced showing the new cancel date. 

As for the third-party providers, we will do our best to ensure deposit flexibility but it will be noted on your invoice if there is no flexibility.

One final note: All of the estimates above are on digital images only!  

We use a third party to print and print/frame any physical photos.  Please let us know upfront if you think you are going to require prints. This will add time to the backend receipt and we will not start the printing process until payment in full is received.
